Hey everyone, The details that are never shown in the media b/c of its graphic exploitation and the abuse against these innocent beings around the world is a site to see. Myself, being priviledged to travel the world on many occassions, witnessed on the television's best in Oslow Norway have seen things that happen around the world especially in our own backyard the U.S.A. You would think that it would be appauling to all the Americans, but what is the unbelieveble truth is that America is human trafficking, child prostitution and many more others like it biggest contributors. Parts of America, the darkside, is really out in the open and no one seems to beable to do anything about it. Yes we have a handleful of concerned citizens who are outragged by this monstrousity that seems to take precedence in our living room. Yes, i said it... it's in our living rooms and many folk seem to turn a blind eye to whats going on. What's worse... the ones that do know about this, the one's who won't even think about giving a helping hand are the ones who agree b/c they're receivng some form of profit from this or are profitting from the act itself by indulging in the behavior. It is disgusting in all levels what a person would do to innocent children or anyone for that matter for there means of pleasure or ludacris ways in getting income. I have seen things that would make you desire to go to the government and have a talk with them about their secret acts. I've been able to see on t.v. Government and important officials from the U.S. caught buying children for their pleasure. When caught you don't hear about it in the U.S., it's kept in the dark... maybe someone else benefitted from that act and profitted some. Maybe... just maybe... it was the one that seem to have gotten away....... as usual. The videos that were shown on the list, I only was able to watch the first one, was not vivid enough with the details but was able to explain verbally what has been going on in other countries. It makes America look peachy clean when really America is one of the worst, yet it still remains in the dark. People don't be clueless about what's going on in our world. We are under attack! Sex predators are everywhere and they are on the lookout for anyone who is not paying attention. Put your cellphones down, put your ipods up and get your fists ready to fight! GO.... HELP!

Prostitution is something unethical from all points of view. In our society this problem is growing every second. Many countries have poor laws to punish the people that promotes this business. The biggest issue is that women and children are the most affected in prostitution. These women and children are mistreated and suffer many kinds of abuses. The worst part is that this is happening in our own back yard.

Sometimes I watch the news and it seems like I'm watching scenes out of a movie. The things that go on in our world are just horrific. Some of these things include prostitution and exploitation. The saddening part about it is that the victims seem to be mainly women and children. What's worse is that these occurrences are not limited to small poor countries where perhaps the people are unaware of changing times. These occurrences are happening right here under our noses. It's almost shameful to watch and hard to understand how so many advanced countries can have such problems. As we progress as a race, in many different areas, it seems that we go backwards in others. I find myself thinking if I see it happening in my backyard and I put a stop to it, will my efforts even make a difference? I would hope that any person who has the ability to stop even one occurrance of this nature, step up and realize that change begins somewhere and that a seemingly small effort can go a long way. We have to start somehow.

On the topic of Prostitution, I think there is a wide range of different ways it is dealt with around the world, some much worse than others. I think this is a problem that has seen great improvement in some places though. In New Zealand and Australia there are legalized brothels which I believe helps with much of the trouble. In places where prostitution is illegal like the U.S., the industry is left in the hands of those that disrespect the rule of law. Prostitutes are marginalized and are easily wound up in drugs and other illegal activity. It's not that Woman are free of all the negative things about prostitution in places where it is legal, but I believe the situation is much better for them, and some Woman certainly enjoy the lucrativeness of the trade there.(At least according to National Geographic, which did a very interesting documentary about prostitution around the world, contrasting the conditions.)
This industry will NEVER disappear, and I think a logical step to help the women involved is to look at these places that have legalized the trade, moving much of the business to cleaner safer places where the woman can make good money in a safe environment, and decide to follow their lead. At least that would take the fate of these women out of the hands of drug dealers and pimps, and give them their power back.

Human trafficking and prostitution have been going on for years and you would think that a culture so "civilized" would have known by now that this is just horrible towards humanity. Things like this occur because people have this false sense of superiority that gives them the courage to do these types of things to women because they're "inferior". Not only to women but to children as well. It's extremely sad to see what human beings are capable of doing to each other, and unfortunately no one is brave enough to say anything. In most occasions, even government officials are part of this horrific, degrading act towards humans, and sadly no one has the courage to stand up to them.

Prostitution is one of the worst possible tortures for woman. It is inconceivable that a human being can just violates all of the child's rights and put her to "work". However, it is happening every minute around the world. Human trafficking is just as incomprehensible as prostitution is.

Unfortunately, we live in a society were things such as prostituion, human trafficking, abuse, and exploitation are part of our every day lives. Some may say that women choose to be prostitutes, or choose that lifestyle because it's the "easy" way out. I believe that if women are in that situation, it is not because they chose to be, but because they were forced to be. Whether because someone physically placed them in prostitution or because it was their only way out. According to the studies posted on the webpage, most women aren't in prostitutes because they want to, and most want to get out of that situation. To me, it is even more disgusting that men resort to this type of sexual interactions. Human trafficking and child prostitution is unethical, inhumane, and inmoral. By putting people through that, they are causing them mental and physical suffering. Nobody should have the right to cause that to another person. In a perfect world, none of this would exist, but we have to continue to live with these situations.

Simply put, it's difficult to escape/reject a system that is based on money and sex—two things the Western world is usually reduced to in terms of pleasure seeking. Clearly, it's unethical, but it seems that there isn't much we can do about it. When we find something more profitable than sex that allows us to exercise a sense of power, then maybe there's going to be a change. Otherwise, all we can do is watch the parthenogenesis of sex and capitalism reach its apogee.
