Why do we still struggle with human trafficking in the Twenty-First Century? First of all, prostitution leads to that. And prostitution it’s legal in some countries and even right here in the United States in some places of Nevada. There are even some people who wish it should be legalized, controlled, and taxed everywhere because apparently it would get the pimps and the addicted prostitutes off the streets by regulating such matters. Second, I think the 21st century has brought about new phenomena and psychological disorders such as mental stress, excessive consumption, sex toys, cosmetic surgery, new sexual fantasies inspired in movies, books, the internet, song lyrics (ex: rap, rock, and hip-hop music) and what is more: we think all of this it’s cool. Thirdly, the lack of money and economic recessions tends to increase crime rates. Fourth, technology has motivated human trafficking tendencies by advertising in web sites and by offering free porno videos online promoting the sex with minors. The demand-supply cause-consequence works: there will always be (my personal perception) a need for sexual services no matter how shocking it seems to be. Finally, do not forget about the system of values, since the behavior that is undesirable for you may not be the case for another person. Personal differences on happiness and satisfaction differ greatly between people, as well as economies. In my opinion, the society has evolved bringing about new tendencies and moral issues. Of course I strongly disagree with human trafficking; I am just explaining my point of view. People who practice human trafficking know it’s wrong to do it, as we all know is wrong to smoke cigarettes and to consume alcohol but however every store sell both products and we consume them.

Human trafficking takes on many different forms and uses new methods to disguise it, no matter where we look or hear about this debated topic it occurs in all countries. In my opinion, I think the only reason why we still struggle with this issue is because there are many that are not educated about the situation, whether is be from prostitution, sex, slavery and other leading factors. Nowadays people should realize that within this century there is so much exploitation and brainwashing that will take away or abuse that basic human rights of an individual by tricking and using them as bait. Simply there is a demand for human trafficking because it’s all about the pleasure and the price; also a factor that makes us struggle with human trafficking is through the uses of media, technology, and what we endured in our daily lives. Lastly, whether debt, violence, music videos and other things, it will destruct our society making it worse for us to resolve the issue.

Why is prostitution such a booming industry in every corner of the world? Because the only thing required is the body. For the men and even women who find it easy to rob people of the only possession they have, human trafficking becomes their cornerstone of business. However, to deprive someone of their free will is all that is needed to say that human trafficking is immoral and needs to be dismantled. If human trafficking weren't bad enough, there are plenty of people who freely choose to be paid for sexual favors, and why not? It is probably the easiest job in the world. It doesn't require schooling and no financial investment is necessary. The most difficult decision however, is can a person live with his/herself after every favor? If said person is given the freedom to choose to do or not then there can be no punishment worse than regret.

As today, the face of society is not a happy one. Among the many difficulties that we face, human trafficking is one of the most evil and destructive that we encounter. As in the majority of cases, women and children result to be the most affected and the most common victims because they are the easiest and most manageable cases for pimps and prostitutions rings. The possibilities for the common victims to becoming involved in this kind of situations are even greater in countries facing financial crisis and in uneducated communities. However, in world economic potencies, such as the US, child prostitution and sex exploitation are also present and increasing every day as a result of the alienation, corruption, and moral deformation, all consequences of the increasing materialization of these societies that leads many times to “objectify” other persons. We can try to find a myriad of reasons for the actions of pimps and johns, but reality is that any of these reasons justifies the use of people as means to an end. This is not the case in which there is not option of treating people as means, as in the case of the sick brother. In human trafficking, there is a choice involved that all of this people refuse to take. The frequently alleged predisposition isn’t strong enough to justify their actions. If that were true, all people who grow in a bad environment will become criminals, something we know isn’t true, and all people who grow in a good environment will never do evil, which isn’t true either. Additionally, we, as human beings, have the possibility of foresee many of the consequences of our actions, so alluding to ignorance wouldn’t justify human trafficking either. My conclusion and believe is that human trafficking is wrong, because it removes the freedom from a person just to fulfill the “desire” of another person.

Although I agree that prostitution is a horrific thing, I don't think it should be illegal. Most women who are prostitutes choose to be prostitutes. I believe that if that's what they want to do to make money, that it should be allowed. Now as for certain societies forcing women to be sold, that's just wrong. The problem with that is that people still view men as the superior over women in other cultures. Some men wish they were to be superior over women in cultures who are enforcing equality. We struggle with human trafficking because the economy is lacking and people are getting lazier with all the technological advances, so the only way to make money fast, in their view, is to sell women. Also, with all these changes, people are getting stressed and are growing up into dysfunctional families and the only way they know how to control their anger and frustration is to beat those around them. They also feel the need to be superior over someone else, hence why they scare their close ones into thinking so. Most of society is ignorant enough to follow ad's and others accepting women exploitation, just because it's "cool". All the factors, for the most part, are our, as a society's, fault, and those who notice and shun all these terrible things, don't do anything to help.

Why do we still struggle with sexual exploitation of women and children in the Twenty-First Century? The reason for this is put simply, supply and demand. Men create the demand while women and children become the supply. To make the battle against sexual exploitation even more endless is the fact that the world is in an economical crisis. This gives the exploiters an open window to the vulnerable. Some families of poverty stricken countries see no other way but to sell their child to exploiters. Others are duped into believing they will be given a job with great pay in a foreign country. Once they arrive to a country unknown to them, they become no different from a mouse in a maze, lost and confused. Tactics such as threatening and brainwashing the victims are commonly used to keep them from going to the authorities or anyone else for help. Very often, the victims are drugged up to keep them at the mercy of the pimp. The demand comes from destination states and cultures that tolerate and promote sexual exploitation. Once the demand increases, pimps simply contact someone to bring a new shipment. It is as though women are merchandises. One may think that getting the government involved will stop the problem, but, its not that simple. Unfortunately, some government officials are bribed with money to turn a blind eye to the obvious. So, in the end, its hard to say human trafficking will ever vanish when you have the good guys working for the bad guys.

Evil can take many forms. However, human trafficking is the fatest-growing crime industry in the world. Victims are usually abducted [by false pretense or fraud] and sold, to later become 'slaves'. Victims, more often than not, are forced to prostitute or become sexually exploitated. This type of crime has been increasing over the years more rapidly because unlike arms or drugs, selling of humans is facilitated by means of smuggling. It has been a huge problem in Eastern Europe, where there are a plethora of cases concerning missing people more and more each day. Where do these victims end up? Usually such destinations are located in Thailand, China, Nigeria, Albania, Bulgaria, Belarus, Moldova, and Ukraine.
I saw a movie once called "Taken", and it deals with a dad [ex-CIA operative] who has a daughter whom really wants to go to Europe [alone] with her best friend claiming that she will stay at her friend's summer home in France. He lets her go, reluctantly, but things go tumbling down when some Albanian kidnappers follow them and invite them to a party. Little do they know that these crimelords were going to abduct them and drug them until they lose consciousness... the movie stresses the fact that people, especially parents NEED to be aware of the fact that the world is filled with evil and nothing can be secured. Therefore, I feel that in order to hinder these crimes from happening daily we need to take precautions and most importantly don't trust anyone you don't know.

How can a men throw an eight years old girl into sex slavery and prostitution?. And even worst how can a men pay to use an 8 years old girl as an object of pleasure?. This is something horrible and sad and it makes me feel disappointed of us as humans. “To treat people as ends”, this phrase seems so far from real. Pimps, johns, and even women who let this little boys and girls live in prostitution don’t have the baggiest idea of what it is to treat people as ends. And that is the problem, this is why we still struggle with this horrible issues, the ignorance. The lack of consciousness of the world about this. Our society needs to be educated about what is going on in the world. This is not only a problem of a country, it is a worldwide problem. Child prostitution and human traffic is dramatically growing and most people are unaware of this.
I have no words to explain how frustrating it is to see a women to be treated as an object, and even worst to see a child to be bought or sell as merchandise. The ignorance of people is a problem, but the problem is also the men who use the services of this multi-billion dollar industry. As long as there is “demand” there will be production. This has to change. Men have to start treating women as persons, not as objects. Our society has to start treating people as ends and not as means to get money or pleasure.

Human trafficking is a form of slavery. Thousands to millions of young girls and adults are being exploited in every corner of this world. They are being sold and bought, and are deprived of their human rights. Many people are not aware of this reality that has a tremendous effect on our society and destroy many women’s lives. Poverty is one of the main causes of prostitution. Most prostitutes are from very underprivileged family. In order to satisfy their wants and needs, they have to sell their body which is not the only option. Often time, individuals with no conscience either force those young girls and adults or falsely promise them that they will be successful in order to get them to join the sex industry. Most of those victims are subject to violence in different forms. They are attacked by pimps, clients and even police. This horrific crime is practiced everywhere in this world, and yet most people are not aware of it because those sex slaves have no voice to talk for them.
I am against of such a practice. I believe that we men are the main causes of prostitution. I understand sex is a physiological need, but we do not have to buy sex or use women as sex slaves. Many men sometimes believe that women are there to purchase. If we stop buying sex or using women as prostitutes, we could fight prostitution. It’s very cruel and inhuman to treat people as objects. When we use women as sex objects, that have a tremendous effect in their self-esteem and self-image, and their lives are destroyed forever.

personally, i believe that the concept of sex has been perceived to be an act of lust. i do not believe that society paints sex the way it should be. with this being said, sex is not a form of art anymore, not even love filled. its just something people do for fun. over the years, our society has made us believe that things like prostitution and human trafficking are acceptable by means to our culture. speaking of culture, there are places in europe that accept the act of prostitution as a normal thing, take the red light district for example. from movies to music, sex has become stronger and completely filled with lust and selfishness. havent you noticed how sex scenes in movies have become stronger, showing massive amounts of nudity, almost like a porn film. as a result of this, women are being looked at differently, only for what their physical characteristics represent. its a sad reality but this will never change and as a matter of fact, i think it'll only get worse. judging by how things are now, how could this get any better in the near future???

• Why do we still struggle with human trafficking in the twenty-first century? This is one of the many bizarre questions that have one think to the core. However, I think it’s as simple as this; the twenty-first century is a product of the last twenty centuries. Therefore, we do things base on our old habits. Although there are many other aspects that contribute to this topic, but prostitution by far is the number one (due to the fact that it’s the oldest). Some other additional reasons why prostitution is the number one leading cause are because of the following; fast cash, low self esteem, history of rape, peer pressure, and the list goes on. The act of using something for any unjust or cruel purposes in other word exploitation is unfair. I strongly disagree with those who believe that prostitution should be legal. Reason being is because the law would be promoting treating people as means to an end. At the end of the day, the choice relies on the individual. No one knows what is right or wrong. The fact that the prostitute, whose being mistreated, supplies her needs in this hectic economy maybe the right thing for her to do. But that does not mean she’s not a human being. I personally don’t support sex exploitation against woman.

I believe that forcing women, men or childen into prostitution is absolutely horrible and should be stopped in all countries. Not only is it very demoralizing to the individual, I think it also further perpetuates the idea of a "slave." Even in other professions or businesses, when a person gives another person money, they falsely believe that the individual recieving the money is entitled to cater to every whim of the person, which can be seen in retail and especially in the resturaunt industry. The problem, besides the fact that I think it is completely unjustifiable to force another human being to have sex with someone, is that there are too many people who support these operations with their money. With so much stress on monetary value these days, some people are too willing to get money at all costs, and will treat others as means to the ends of their own happiness. People are brainwashed into thinking that selling themselves is all they can do to help x or prevent y from happening or to be protected by z. Unfortunately, there appears to be no sign of these conditions ending anytime soon, so I believe the best way to help the unheard voices and victims in these horrid crimes is to try to improve their conditions, but first the crimes, exploitations and violence must be brought out to the light so that everyone can see the ugly truth in its face.

Why are we so surprise about human traffic in the Twenty-First Century? This is an issue that only we as a person can stop since we are the one who permitted. It is hard to see but is real, I think that the society is the responsible for this issue since many men pay a lot of money just for a moment of pleasure do not even care if the other person is agree with it or not. This is what we have done with our society thinking just in our own desire, and how to make it happen. For example, there are people who pay to have sex with any person even though they know that that person has been rap or are slave. If men stop paying for having just a moment of pleasure, there will not be any business. So it is time for all of us to star to treat everyone with respect because it is the only way we can finish with this issue. Do not just treat other people as an end but yourself too.

We live in a world driven by money. Self-gratification is a very addictive drug. Pleasure is a neccesity in our life, without it our lives would unsatisfactory. Too much of it isn't good either but that seems to be the case when it comes to prostitution. People are known to take advantage of the weak and feed off other's weakness. Sex is no exception. People all around the world take part in human trafficing. This is a very lucrative industry that is in high demand. Woman get the short end of the stick in this dark business. While men become so obsessed with their own desires they undermine other peoples emotions and even freedom. They take young woman and children from their homes and shipping them place to place for their own personal gain of the buyer and seller. This shows how the weak and vulnerable are takened advantage of in this selfish sosiety. These people are victims, sucked into a violent and seemingly never ending cycle of abuse and misfortune. Likewise, prostitutes sell their bodies for a personal gain usually. They need the money for whatever reason, so if their selling, somebody will always be buying. What if every prostitute stopped selling their bodies? Then what would become of the prostituting industry? Obviously it would fall and become desolate. In turn that would create a boom in rapes and assualts. Which basically leads me to belive that people want what they want by any means. Due to the fact that place like legal brothels exist, there will never be a complete stop to prostituting or trafficking. Its illegal to sell your body on a street corner, but you can hold a 9-5 in a legal brothel,"The Moonlight Bunny Ranch". In my eyes the only way to reduce prostitution is by stopping the media from presenting what sex is or ought to be. Either in music videos, movies, or TV shows sex is portrayed as something that's not takened considerately. when in fact is something bautiful that should be shared with the one you love.

The countries were this unstoppable crime of human traffic originate are mainly Africa and Eastern Europe. Countries where poverty, corruption, and the need of affection is highlighted . There have been many institutions that have tried to reduce the human trafficking, but they have failed to in all their attempts and still don't know why. Human traffic is provoked by forced labor, but mainly by prostitution , therefore, leading to "forced sex". Also having as background information , that forced sex has only one true meaning , and it's the normal instinct of a man that needs to feel powerful by sexually abusing women. And that said, it leads us to the conclusion that none if these atrocities could ever be stopped, because mankind is psychologically affected more than anything which is causing all the damage to this world.
