In the name of Truth & Dada I bless Wiki-Leaks.

I am not saying Wiki-Leaks is "good" or that American "politics" are bad. On the contrary I say both are merely entities that operate in different realms that at times merge to raise meaningful questions, as to the policies and politics of America while always bringing concern to issue of international laws as applied to internet related crimes.

Do I approve of questionable American politics? no. Do I encourage the unlawful invasion and publishing of guarded information? no.

Rather than be pretension and attempt to think critically I shall commit an act of Dada.

The Wiki-Leaks are like the smoldering feces of truth that politicians and those power leave behind on crowded streets so that the ignorant masses may step on it and feel disgusted.

It's all a farce. Rather than bring meaningful facts out to light, the wiki-leaks have merely become the stuff of tabloid magazines and higher ratings for television networks.

How will trivial facts of politicians and overlooked statistics make ADD afflicted imbecile America any smarter.

Between you and me I'd grease Khaddafi's nurse! And as for Sarkozy. . . He's French! the French haven't won a real war since that midget Lil' Nappy. Sarkozy as a "naked emperor" would fit better as the "naked beggar". Now Putin can kiss my ass, the Russian army hasn't fought a war with a major power since Hitler went emo and killed himself.

Now America. . . sigh. The only Thing positive I have to say about it is this: I think Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton so fine!

We all know that politics are very shady and we are not sure who or what to believe at times. the Wiki-Leaks can be treated in the same sense as politics. I do not think that Wiki-Leaks are necessarily a bad thing just as I do not believe politics is a bad thing but as individuals we have to really use our knowledge and wisdom to fully understand each issue. I think that Wiki-Leaks, in a way, balances out politics by seeing the little bit of truth that politics does not show. Neither are 100% reliable and neither are 100% false. With that being said I think that we as citizens should have the right to to go the website, which was banned for obvious reasons, and determine for ourselves what we think is true or false since it has to do with our government. There is clearly some truth behind some of the documents presented by Wiki-Leaks, which is why they (they government) does not allow us to simply go to the website and read them.

I think this WIKI-LEAKS is a form of Cyber crime or computer fraud.Theft of information, which consists of the unauthorized obtaining of information from computer (for example hacking). Most of the efforts to stop cyber crime happen on the federal level. I think that the people that can hack into the advance systems of any network and obtain their information shouldn't be prosecuted, but hired by the FBI.

there is a constant revolt against the system, it is part of what keeps things in check and balances. The truth is for the people! the people should be made aware of what their government is doing. it is our job to hold the politicians that we elect in check.too many times we have been blinded by our own lack of faith in what is right. if our government is wrong, we should do something about it. WIki-Leaks is information,it is disseminated, what you do with it is your choice. Revolutionize, question everything! the people have the power.

I really dislike talking about politics because they are very untrustworthy. I do not think that Wiki-Leaks are a bad thing. I think that Wiki-Leaks, in a way balances out politics by seeing the little bit of truth that politics keep away from us. Although its not 100% true or 100% false. We as citizens should have the right to to go the website, because obviously there are some truth behind some of the documents presented by Wiki-Leaks, which is why the government does not allow us to visit the website and read them. It's so obvious that they hide many things from us.I believe that us the people should be made aware of what the government is doing and if our government is wrong, we should do something about it! Us the people have the power! Let's OPEN our eyes and make this World a better place!

The leaks in wikileaks, show to what extent the freedom of speech can get. The peak of democracy. I personally think it is not necessary a bad thing to reveal classified documents. I know that now, United States' enemies have access to confidential files, but if this is the price to pay for a full awareness of what is happening in the highest sphere of government, so be it. Of course, there are some files that cannot be open to public. It is indeed the government's responsibility to keep it a secret, and not to the website wikileaks to make a selection. I do not know the consequences of this in the future. Let's wait and see.

It seems to me Wiki-Leaks are more or less what the first amendment is in purist form. Many places in the world don't have freedom of press. Many places in Africa don't have a stable government at which to protect the freedom of press. Because of set reason the idea of Wiki-Leak seems very practical. Besides all that separates Wiki-Leaks from Facebook is it's credibility. It seems right to leave them in an affect of preserving our rights but when it comes to feeding the journalist monster we can safely say this is a journalist's dream come true. Secrets are a vital part of our world but the truth can be just as powerful in the right hands.

I find everything having to do with WikiLeaks, for the part, pretty funny. I'm not one to talk politics, because, like religion, it's a touchy & complicated topic. But we all know that the American government is as sneaky with their ways around things as a child is trying to sneak a cookie before dinner. Now that all their crap is being leaked for the public to read, they're trying to cover their asses. And I find this amusing.

Today everyone wants to be famous and this by all means, since we are in the era of information (information for more users in record time) that the Internet is one of the mediums of communication makes it easy. Opportunists use internet to do their money. We have seen and heard young people who, before committing their crime, their exactions publish on the web. What Mr. Assange did via Wikileaks, it is vagrancy pure and simple; those information are not profitable for anyone. Whole truth is not usually good to say and if the world was based on only truth, it would indeed be destroyed. In the current context: global economic crisis, war, international terrorism, the U.S. and major world powers need some serenity; none of these nations cannot get rid of its allies and friends. Creating fictions and discords among the United States and Italy, England, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Germany, France and even Russia is not serious. It is like putting a gun fully loaded with bullets in the hands of an eight year old child. I am absolutely convinced that if this man had information on the manufacture of atomic bombs or anthrax powder, he would make available to the general public so that all the unnecessary evils would use it with pleasure.
PS. “Julian Assange, editor in chief of Wikileaks, was arrested Tuesday morning in London on rape charges from Sweden, adding a new wrinkle to the ongoing furor over Wikileaks' controversial release of hundreds of thousands of US diplomatic cables”. (The Christian Science Monitor)

I feel that wikileaks was predictable and inevitable. Everyone has an opinion and perhaps factual information to share, and with today's technology and expansive communication mediums, someone was going to post something on this scale eventually. The stand that many politicians are taking against it is not shocking. Though America is a democracy, supposedly for the people and by the people, so much of what the government does is purposefully without our knowledge. But to go so far as to accuse wikileaks of being under terrorist influence is perhaps a little extreme.
