The test is multiple choice and a truth-and-false section. Remember to bring your own scantrons 48TMS (rectangular, with 5 questions per row) to our exam. They have it in two colors, red and teel.
How to study for my test? You should make flash cards. Write down each concept in a card. Separating concepts is better for memorization. When you are done with all our definitions, then suffle the cards and try to memorize the definitions.

Marimar: Beliefs tend to get lumped together in kids of networks. Ex. If I believe 1. "John loves Mary", I would be more likely to accept 2. "John wants Mary's son." My reason for believing 2. coheres with 1.

You have to go case by case as we did during our reviews: In all the cases they didn't have BEJE. Mr. Truetemp couldn't provide BE because, though he had RPTB (reliably produced true belief) he didn't have BEJE.
Some things in the world are so important to people that they become advocates of the cause, rallying and petitioning, while others pay no mind. When it comes to things that don't directly affect me, i too pay no mind. Legallizing marijuana happens to be one of them, however when I have an opinion on something, I stand by it. Marijuana is in essance a plant, not a drug. It's effects are minimal, not life threatening and short term. There are no facts that state that "weed" is detrimental to your health and can lead to death. It makes some smokers sleepy, lazy or silly, so what? If marijuana is illegal based on health risks, than cigaretts should be banned. People die of lung cancer everyday, yet marijuana claims how many lung cancer victims? Cigaretts can cause harm to others through 2nd hand smoke, while marijuana 2nd hand smoke places others in no harm. Smoking during pregnancy can lead to child developement issues and what of marijuana? I have morals though, I don't think it's okay for a 13 yr. old to smoke. The line must be drawn somewhere and thats where legalization comes in. Make marijuana use legal for 21 or older. Bottom line is, marijuana exists, people will smoke it, just set boundaries.

Did you know one in four people who are sentenced to death are innocent of the crime they were accused of? According to research, 4,631 people have been executed in the United States since 1930. Therefore, 1,157 innocent people have been unjustly killed. I do not believe in the death penalty because we never know anything for sure. How do we know those people are really guilty? Although I do not support any wrong behaviors, the death penalty will not correct all of the wrong that was done to any of the victims, their family and loved ones or society in general. Currently there are 3,500 people on death row. John Paul II wrote that “the only justification for the death penalty was the need to protect society.” In a country where it is possible to keep people incarcerated for life, the death penalty is not justified. Death penalty is inhumane and should be abolished. So there you go. The death penalty will never get my vote.

For years, I have been hearing the arguments regarding stem cell research. Due to the infinite knowlege and facts on both sides, I did some research on thought processes and their creators, back then. The only way to sort an overwhelming bit of info is to organize it. But, sometimes you have to learn how to organize first. "It is the mark of an educated mind to entertain a thought without accepting it." Those words, my dear friends, was from a student of Plato and teacher of Alexander the Great by the name of Aristotle. So, I entertained this thought of stem cell research. And, I will say this. There comes a point when dealing with matters of the human population that things sometimes must be done for the sake of the greater good. Science must prevail. And it probably always will.
I'm not taking assignments here. Sorry.

and in guttiers exp, Smith had strong evidence that jones would get the job because
1.the president of the company assured him that jones would be selected in the end, and
2.simth couted the coins in jones pocket 10 mins before.
now, i understand that the information that defeated that jones is getting the job because he had counted the 10 coins in jones pocket beforde, is that both have 10 coins in their pockets(without knowing that)...but how can we refute that the president of the company assure him jones was gonna get it.

how do you fight domestic violence?
this is a very delicate issue. there are many factors that leads to this type of situation, but I feel that the worst is when you are afraid of the other person. This people have a way to manipulate others and make you think that you are worthless, that what ever happens to you it's because you deserve it.I knew someone in that situation and I try to help her by calling the police, hidding her. nothing worked until she put her foot down and stop being afraid.it took her about 5 years to build up a high self steem and the courage to say ENOUGH. I feel that therapy, counseling, and monetary are a few ways to help domestic violence.
Thanks, Marimar. I also think one can see signs before marriage. Signs that women often don't look into if they themselves have been brought up in an already existing environment of violence.

Triff, I agree with you about the fact that a lot of woman don't see the warnings before getting into a violant relationship, for what ever their reasons.But in their defence I have to add that when we are young and in love we are blind and stupid sometimes.
